houses with cats that don’t have toys everywhere creep me out in the same way as houses with kids that don’t have toys everywhere
some cats like to leave all their toys around for maximum play availability, but others like to take all their toys and HIDE THEM and since i CANT FIND ANY i assume they must be LOST and thats how my cat ends up with A HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH OF TOYS PILED UNDER THE COUCH GODDAMMIT

My husband goes around and picks up all the toys.
I go around behind him taking them out and scattering them again.
The cats are amused.
My cats play with balled up receipts and hairties.
So my house is in fact laden with cat toys, but it just looks like we’re messy.
