i don’t see taako and barry’s friendship explored nearly enough in modern AUs. give me these dumb dumb boys being idiot best friends together whenever lup is busy. i want barry being dragged along shopping with taako and suggesting terrible clothes for him to try on only for taako to manage to pull them off. give me barry convincing taako to use an ouija board with him to see what will happen. taako doesn’t believe in that stuff but he ends up getting creeped out anyway and burning it in the backyard afterwards

Taako and Barry going shopping cart surfing in the freshco parking lot. Barry steers because he refuses to give Taako that level of power. Taako responds by blocking Barry’s vision with his hands. They fact that they haven’t veered into traffic is a bona fide miracle. 

Taako and Barry drive for 2 hours and 36 minutes to get to a fancy bakery that opened up ‘nearby’. Barry goes on a rant about how he’s not Taako’s chauffeur but then Taako shoves some cake in his mouth and jesus fucking christ, that’s a good bake.

Taako and Barry go to an agricultural fair. Taako thought this would mean rides and corndogs, but it’s actually mostly sheep, and like

Quality Work Clothes. That is until all the fancy fucks show up for the horse show. The two of them leave in a hurry with a lot of very nice denim and leather goods, some fudge for Lup, approximately $3587 worth of stolen jewlery,

and a stampede of show cows covering their escape. 

Taako and Barry sneak into the public pool at night so Taako can teach Barry how to swim in private. There are duck floaties involved. Barry insists on erasing the security tapes and uhh yeah he can do that, who the fuck do you think your talking too, Taako?
