ramses: sounds worse than ever, implies that he doesn’t have long to live, will most likely be dead by the end of the season

my thoughts on Juno Steel and the Man Of The Future (Part One): AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
“Peter Nureyev is the son of a revolutionary who probably never existed. And Peter Nureyev is the son of a thief too: a man who showed his love through lies up until the moment Nureyev killed him. And Peter Nureyev is a name. A name whispered in the shadows of a floating weapon, a monster under every bed in a floating city of tyrants. Peter Nureyev is a thief without a home, and he was a thief without a name until me. Because Nureyev was wrong all those years ago. He said a name wasn’t worth anything, and that he’d never have one again. And then he gave me his. A gift I didn’t understand. So who is Peter Nureyev? Peter Nureyev is a man who makes me feel. Makes me feel… a lot, okay? And I know he’ll be back, because I know one more thing about Peter Nureyev. I make him feel a lot too. And why not? Everyone’s got a flaw. Here’s hoping his doesn’t get him killed. ”

Arum, Rilla, and Damien coming to terms with their feelings for each other individually and at rapidly different speeds is SO fucking funny to watch
Damien, vibrating at an absurd frequency: HES SO PRETTY AND I HATE HIM AND HE HAS TO DIE I HATE MYSELF
Arum, about to maybe die or whatever: here’s everything you need to know to protect yourselves from the weapon I created to undermine your species youre both gorgeous here’s a poetic description of you
Rilla, a normal, rational human being, processing her feelings like a Grown Adult Person: Obviously I’m marrying Damien, and while Arum did kidnap me he wasn’t particularly malicious and I don’t want him to die
benzaiten’s optimism and his belief in the complexity of people makes him a perfect foil to juno’s pessimism and black-and-white worldview. throughout the monsters reflection, ben would break juno out of his self-centered perspective to remind him of other possibilities or details juno had overlooked. thanks to ben, juno was able to confront his fears and find the truth about his mother and about ramses, who he had blindly put faith in. in this essay, i will
the thing i honestly find the most funny about the thief among us is that nureyev could have EASILY pulled off that heist in ANY other way. faulty security recommendations. offering to guard rockridge’s collection. ANYTHING. she’s incredibly gullible!!! it would have been easy!!! but he decided to be EXTREMELY extra on his FIRST ASSIGNMENT for miasma, the one he really should have IMPRESSED her with, and just. walk in. without a plan. and improv. and then literally STEAL HER STUFF in front of her. there is NO REASON that should have worked.
